Who is affected:
Shared hosting users and sites hosted on aegir.koumbit.net
What will happen:
Servers will be rebooted to apply security upgrades. Also, 3 servers (including two in the shared hosting service) will have memory upgrades from 4 to 8GB.
Why:
To ensure proper security on the servers and improve performance in the main shared hosting cluster.
How:
During the maintenance window, servers will be rebooted for the Linux kernel upgrade. There will therefore be sporadic 5-10 minutes outages on the affected servers. Other servers will also be rebooted for memory upgrades.
