Who is affected: 
Users of our hosting services, AlternD (Aegir) and AlternC (self-managed hosting).
What will happen: 
e have to install a security patch on our servers. This operation requires a reboot of the servers. This will happen today, June 22, between 5 and 6 pm. Effect: - AlternD: a downtime of about 5 minutes. - AlternC: a downtime of about 15 minutes.
Why: 
We have to install an important security patch to the Linux Kernel.
Objections: 
This patch resolves potentially serious vulnerabilities to the Linux Kernel, our servers and our overall service. Therefore, we regretfully won't be able to accomodate requests to postpone the operation.
